Warning Signs

We Need To Talk About Kevin may seem pretty straight forward and yes you have already taken a good guess at the subject and possible events occurring, but take a seat as you'll discover it's so much more. Writing letters (serving as chapters) to her husband, Eva, Kevin's mother, tells the story of their family, it's foundations, it's everyday suburbia and all the potential clues that lead to one calamitous day. The unique delivery and rich vocabulary of this most dire of circumstances slowly draws you in and then in the penultimate letter throws you aside as your eyes widen with understanding, pain and anguish. This book requires real investment from it's reader, that pays off by leaving you spent yet concious of the undeniable effect we all have on those around us.
